Roach Control

Are you tired of watching roaches flee across your counter tops or fly across your kitchen when you enter the room, and want to know how to get rid of roaches? If so, it’s time to call Dial One Franklynn Pest Control for a free inspection. We provide proven roach control solutions throughout metro New Orleans, and can help you get rid of those roaches once and for all.

The Real Problem with Roaches

Cockroaches have a nasty habit of consuming any type of food product in the home including spilt beverages, along with the crumbs and food that is trapped in the grout and cracks around the home and on the countertops and dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. While they tend not to bite pets and people, they do shed, and leave their hazardous waste products all around. These harmful waste products can become airborne as they decompose, which can lead to asthma and allergy symptoms, and they are known to contaminate food with many types of micro-organisms.

Rats & Mice Control

It’s usually easy to know when you need a qualified rat and mice control company. You’ve seen one running across your floor late at night or you’ve see what they left behind next to your garbage can.

  1. Perform a Thorough Inspection. We inspect the inside and outside of your home or business to document all rodent activity including their possible entry points.

  2. Create a Customized Elimination Plan. We will make recommendations specific to your rodent problem to best ensure 100% elimination of the rodent problem. This may include some combination of baiting and traps, as well as specific recommendations on sealing potential entry points and removing sources of foods that the rodents may be drawn to.

  3. Sanitation. Depending on the severity of the problem, we may recommend a procedure to sanitize the home or business to prevent the spread of disease.

  4. Follow Up. Complete elimination of a mouse or rat problem is not often done with a single visit. Our trained technicians will make follow up service calls to your home or business to check baits and traps, as well as ensure the entry points are successfully sealed.

  5. Your 100% Guarantee. DIAL ONE Franklynn Pest offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all elimination with exclusion work we provide.

Ant Control

Are you tired of unsuccessfully trying to get rid of ants from your New Orleans area home or business using “do it yourself” methods? Or are you seeing new ant problems in places where you’ve never seen them before? No matter what your issue is with ant control, we can help by providing professional elimination of the problem.

As part of the after effects of Hurricane Katrina, specific ant populations in the New Orleans area have developed a stronger foothold in the local community. A few of the flood-adapted ant species, including the red fire ant (indigenous to the South America Paraguay River floodplain), became suppressed, due to the flooding conditions. As a result, the more aggressive ant colonies developed larger populations that are posing significant problems to the residents of New Orleans.

Tick and Flea Control

Fleas on leg

Fleas on leg

Living along the Gulf Coast sometimes presents unique challenges when it comes to pest control, and managing fleas in house or yard, and tick control in New Orleans is no exception. Fleas and ticks thrive in warm weather where their entire reproductive cycle may be completed within two weeks. Few places as warm as New Orleans, especially in the summer months!

Pets are the most common source of a fleas in house or tick infestation. They get fleas from some other flea infected animal. An infected cat, dog, or even a raccoon or opossum may have went through your yard or neighborhood and the female flea laid eggs. Your pet may potentially carry these pests into the home, but they may also enter the home even if you don’t own a pet. There are many cases where fleas and ticks may attach themselves to your clothing, or even enter a home or business through an open door or crevice.

Once inside the home or business flea eggs begin to hatch, and flea larvae remain hidden within crevices and beneath carpeting. Vacuuming is sometimes successful in ridding the home of a portion of these eggs and larvae, but prior to using any chemical treatment, contact your local DIAL ONE Pest Control professional for a free inspection.

Ticks present a different problem, as tick control is not the same as flea control. Ticks will seek hidden locations within a home or business, so repairing cracks or holes in the walls as well as keeping grass cut short may help prevent infestations. However, if these methods do not work, contact DIAL ONE Pest Control before attempting any type of chemical treatment.
